Hello all,

You are receiving this email because you have signed up with me and would like to play in the LA Fitness Cerritos‘ Fall Racquetball League. Good news! The league will begin this coming Monday, August 30 at 6pm.

The front desk of LA Fitness will be collecting the funds for the league. The cost is $20 and will include the duration of the league. Please have your payment made by the start of the league on Monday night. Once the fee is payed, the front desk will issue you a receipt of payment. HOLD ONTO THAT RECEIPT!!! It is very difficult to find out who had payed and who hasn’t without that receipt. I must see that you have payed in order to let you participate in the league! I will not allow you to play if you have not payed. NO EXCEPTIONS!

With all that said, the league is shaping up to be a lot of fun. We have a number of A and B players and a few C and D players as well. Because these number are not evenly balanced, we are going to handicap this league. That means, the C and D players will automatically start off with points. The format of the league will be one game to 11 so that you will have ample opportunity to play a number of matches. I will keep track of wins and losses and scores. Each league night, I will post standings so you can see exactly where you are at and what you have to do (who you will have to beat) to advance!

So to wrap this up, remember that the league will begin at 6pm every Monday night starting with this coming Monday, August 30! Make sure that you pay your $20 at the front desk BEFORE we start. Friends, Ziba Music’s last day will be on August 29th, it’s a bit bittersweet to see my favorite music store close down, but we should go out with a bang! We will have complimentary snacks as well as music starting at noon.
